I sistemi Alpine Freestyle sono stati creati per soddisfare la crescente domanda di sistemi di installazione personalizzati. Il sistema Freestyle può essere utilizzato soprattutto per i veicoli in cui la radio o il navigatore non sono adatti e non sono disponibili soluzioni. Sta poi all'abilità dell'installatore utilizzare il sistema Freestyle per creare un'installazione perfetta per il veicolo.
Il sistema di navigazione Alpine Freestyle di quarta generazione è dotato di un touch-screen WXGA da 9 pollici ad alta risoluzione con una risoluzione di 1280 x 720 pixel, ampie opzioni multimediali tra cui la compatibilità con Apple CarPlay wireless e Android Auto (via cavo). Dispone inoltre di 2 porte USB e di un sintonizzatore radio digitale DAB+ integrato.
Il sistema Alpine Freestyle è tra le prime unità principali al mondo dotate di un amplificatore di classe D integrato e dispone di un'ampia gamma di funzioni professionali per la regolazione del suono, come X-Over a 2 vie, equalizzatore parametrico, correzione temporale digitale e molto altro ancora.
